Service and care . . . to meet individual needs
Because retirement is a time of continuing growth, Stapeley provides learning opportunities for enrichment, fitness programs for both mind and spirit, and volunteer opportunities both inside and outside the community. There are gardens, walkways and safe areas to stroll outdoors. Reserved parking is available for all residents and there is 24-hour security, seven days a week at both entrances.

Stapeley West offers residential living in 43 private apartments that provide an enriching lifestyle with as much socialization or as much privacy as desired. Apartments range in size from studio to two bedrooms with a den. Every unit has a balcony that overlooks the south gardens. Stapeley West is connected to the rest of the community by “The Bridge,” a glass enclosed walkway overlooking a hardwood forest and walking paths.

Stapeley Hall is the historic, original building that was once a modest boarding home. Today it is the site of the Personal Care Community, part of the continuum of care that ensures quality of life and promotes independence, with support. The Hall has 70 private accommodations, a spacious parlor for socializing, a library with video equipment for the visually impaired, a plant-room, gardens and safe areas to enjoy the outdoors. An activity program, with trips and entertainment, provides additional opportunities for enjoyment and socialization.

The Healthcare Center is a 120 bed skilled nursing and rehabilitation center. Board-certified Physicians who specialize in geriatric care, licensed nurses, and clinicians provide a range of healthcare services. A myriad of activities and programs are part of daily living to promote physical, mental and social well-being.

Bridges at Stapeley offers a “secured” community located within our historic building. Our pre-selected and specially trained staff will be well qualified in behavioral interventions and will be able to provide a higher level of quality care dealing with the sensitive and special needs of the dementia resident.

Therapeutic programs are designed to include recreation, former work experiences and activities of daily living.  These specialized services are proven to increase the resident’s independence, decrease agitation and increase the sense of belonging.

Family will have the opportunity to come together for various support groups, that Stapeley will facilitate, to discuss the challenges, special needs and emotions connected with an individual diagnosed with dementia.
