Assistant Manager (Dining Room)
Wesley Enhanced Living is seeking an experienced Restaurant Manager to serve as Assistant Manager responsible for the effective and efficient oversight of dining room and food service operations in our Stapeley in Germantown Continuing Care Care Retirement Community. The Assistant Manager is responsible for assisting the General Manager with staff performance including the hiring, scheduling, training and retention of Food Servers, and Utility Workers, as well as coordination with Kitchen Production staff. This position also maintains budgets and controls costs associated with staffing by controlling turnover of staff and by limiting the use of overtime and premium pay. The Assistant Manager is committed to providing excellent service by increasing staff productivity, developing and maintaining programs to improve service excellence, enhancing resident and visitor satisfaction, and ensuring cross training and staff development. Assistant Manager (Healthcare Services)
Wesley Enhanced Living is seeking an experienced Dining Services Manager with a background and knowledge of Department of Health nutritional and reporting requirements for residents of Long Term Care to serve as Assistant Manager responsible primarily for the effective, efficient, and accurate management and daily supervision of healthcare food service in our Stapeley in Germantown Continuing Care Retirement Community. The Assistant Manager (Healthcare Services) is primarily responsible for staff performance including the daily supervision and retention of Dietary Aides and Food Servers who are assigned to Healthcare Center and Personal Care Dining Rooms. The Assistant Manager (Healthcare Services) is committed to providing excellent service in accordance with Federal, State and Local healthcare center regulations, by increasing staff productivity, developing and maintaining programs to improve service excellence, enhancing resident satisfaction, and ensuring cross training and staff development. The Assistant Manager (Healthcare Services) goal is to provide a full and enhanced dining experience to residents in the Healthcare or Personal Care departments, while maintaining budget goals and regulatory compliance. Registered Dietitian
Wesley Enhanced Living is seeking an experienced Registered Dietitian to support the Director of Dining Services and Executive Chef in the areas of nutrition, dietetics, menu coordination, charting, data and statistical controls, and the development and implementation of healthy eating/weight management programs at our two continuing care retirement communities located in Northeast Philadelphia, and Doylestown, Central Bucks County, Pennsylvania. Director of Nursing
Wesley Enhanced Living, an organization that owns and operates continuing care retirement communities throughout the Philadelphia area, has an opportunity for an Experienced Director of Nursing (DON) to manage a 120 bed Skilled Nursing unit located in Philadelphia. This position requires strong leadership, clinical and interpersonal skills, the ability to instruct, direct and lead staff. A thorough knowledge of long-term care regulations, applicable federal and state regulations is required. Must possess a current state professional license (RN), have three years experience in gerontological/rehabilitative nursing preferred and one year experience or education in nursing service administration and supervision. Recreation Assistant (Part-time)
The Recreation Assistant is responsible
for assisting the Director of Community Life by conducting assigned
recreation activities. The Recreation Assistant must work in accordance
with established policies and procedures; Performs related duties as
required;. High school graduate or equivalent; ability to read, write,
and perform simple arithmetic. Experience with geriatrics is preferable;
Employee must be mentally and physically able to perform all essential
job functions which require light to moderate physical effort; majority
of time is spent walking/standing.

Environmental Services seeks a self-starting individual able to function
independently as well as part of a team; 2 to 3 years experience in
building maintenance is preferred (Healthcare environment a plus). This
Full time position reports to the Maintenance Supervisor and will be
responsible for: Light carpentry; Electrical Plumbing; HVAC; General
projects pertaining to ongoing facilities upkeep.

Housekeeper, The
Housekeeper maintains a clean, safe environment for the comfort of
the residents and staff; Applicant must be mentally and physically
able to perform all essential job functions which require visual
acuity, manual dexterity, considerable walking and standing,
kneeling and crawling in performance of duties; ability to work on
stepladder, and frequently immersing hands in water and cleaning
solutions. Performs related duties as required.
Dietary Workers (Part-time)

The Utility Person washes dishes, glasses, and utensils
according to proper procedure and to assist in maintaining sanitary
conditions throughout the kitchen as instituted; Performs related duties
as required.

The
Waitress/Waiter maintains a pleasant atmosphere at meal times by serving
food and beverages efficiently and courteously. Maintains sanitary
conditions at all times. Performs related duties as required.

The Cook prepares nutritious, attractive, and good tasting meals
according to menu. Prepares and serves meals according to schedule.
Maintains proper food-handling techniques and sanitary procedures
according to regulations. Performs related duties as required.
